I had the Abalone cháo and it was very flavorful. It was one of the places that was opened late night and a great place for this type of soupy comfort food.

For $25 a portion of 1/2 boiled duck with a bowl of porridge and salad(serve 2 people). After 2 years I came back, now more people work here , compared last time , this time the service faster.

Great porridge for light supper with family. Perfect after the long drive and theme park. Yummy Vietnamese Style porridge! I was looking forward to this and was very satisfied. If you order the Duck salad, it comes with a bowl of plan porridge and refillable one time.

tl,dr: nice place for some nostalgic Vietnamese duck congee Likes: + If you needa warm up from the cold weather or are craving a mix of duck congee with some balut eggs, this spot is it. + Plenty of parking + Delectable seasonings (spices, salt, pepper, lemon) to go with the fertilized duck egg. You gotta try it! Non-likes: - cash only - I asked if their tamarind juice is has low consistency and is mostly drink and thus easy to drink. Waitress says yes. Turns out, it's like 80% ice and 20% drink. That's exactly what I was trying to eschew! What a $5 rip-off. Tip: when you crack open the balut, be careful not to drop the juice inside. Sip that yummy water right up! My party of 2 had: $25 1/2 con vịt + cháo + gỏi (half duck + congee + salad)+ $2.50 giò cháo quẩy (fried breadsticks) + $7 hột vịt lộn (fertilized duck egg, $3.50 each) + $3.50 đá chanh (lemonade) + $5 nước đá me (iced tamarind juice) = $43
